Edward Jansen
Entrepreneur, Christian, father of four sons. Founder of a network of websites about gender.
About me
Born on June 18, 1971. Married, four adult sons. Started my career in HR services, then moved into ICT. Self-employed since 2002 — I build and sell software companies. Several successful exits behind me. Working principle: pay for results, not for promises. Work closely with one of my sons.
Christian. I study the Bible thoroughly, with attention to structure, chronology and coherence. Member of a local congregation. I regard marriage and family as a foundation, not as one of several possible lifestyles.
My position on gender: man and woman are a given, not a social construct. Identity follows from creation and purpose, not from feeling or self-definition. I distinguish between love for the person and affirmation of every self-perception. Not a polemicist, but principled.
I prefer to build rather than debate. Sober, reserved, principled. For me, convictions do not need to sound louder to be true.
Stichting Genderinfo i.o.
I am the founder of Stichting Genderinfo i.o. The goal: to offer a platform with broad information about gender identity and related themes, from diverse perspectives, without commercial interest.
The foundation publishes through multiple websites — background articles, dossiers with facts and source citations, critical analyses of policy and reporting, personal accounts and references to scientific publications. All information is freely available, without login walls or paywalls.
Source citations with every claim. No ties to political parties, government or commercial interests.
Status: in formation — board is being assembled.
Projects & publications
The network spans more than thirty websites, each with its own angle. See the full overview on the projects page. My own essays and analyses are listed on the publications page.
